Why is it that tanks are so hard to kill? Yesterday I encounterd this level 72 in BH which I literally couldn't hit. The tank kept on hitting 11's on me with range and then finished me off with a 17 from a rune 2h. So really I'm asking for any suggestings when killing tanks. Also on a side note, what do tanks usually have in terms of stats and equipment?

I believe tanks usually aim for 99 range, 70+ def wearing verac skirt, torag helm, d hide body and either a rune x bow or MSB. I wouldn't even bother fighting them as their def makes them far too hard to hit. But considering Runescape is based on luck, you could just hope you get a lucky spec.

Thats the point of having high defence...
Do you really expect to hit as often on a 99 defence as you'd hit on a 1def?
All builds have pros and cons, and their pro is to be hitted less pften, but at the same time they can't KO anyone..
