Hi, Toblerone here. On this thread we are planning what to do when SD comes. Here is a short guide for you and a form to say what you think is best 'cos it's quite interesting to see what peoples goals are in this game. Please post any ideas your have for me to ammend this.



Guide:

1. Read any instructions carefully slowly being careful not to be over-excited and log on. (and the rules but we assume they will be the same as runescape or less been as this is not aimed at kids)
2. All enter a communal MSW clan and share any new info with the rest of us. Using this we can gain the knowledge of a hundred people while only doing the physical work of a single being.
3. Start the tutorial carefully sending news of your progress to others while catching up on how far people have got ahead of you and what's coming next.
4. Designated leaders make note of every step and write this down for further reference when full version arrives.
5. Emerge into the full word and start to explore.

Please use the form below.

• Race: (Human/Robot/Mortiga/Pliigi)
• Main goal: (To get my own spaceship/ to own zezima, etc.)
• Primary objectives: (get armed with good ammo/map out the arena, etc.)

Lets have this discussion a year from now and see where we're at, eh?

It's best to collect info and help the other people on these forums. And do you want this site to stay no.1 with the best info on it or somebody else to steal the spotlight?

I only intend to play it my way, and how I like. IMO following instructions is a bit nooby.

The instructions are generally for noobs who find this site when it is released and are like omg what do I do!??! And they panic losing vital time ingame when it starts. And the second part is for us to collect data info as ren has said we need to. Data is what makes this fansite/ if we knew nothing it would not be here. We are the main site because we know the most. I would have joined another site if they knew more. No disrespect but to get new people we need to appeal to them and offer help in return.

Wait until the game is released before you start collecting info. ^^ (and no offense I doubt anyone needs some plan for what to do when the game is released, because that's obvious: PLAY!)

Seeing as we have 0 info now that the game has largely been scrapped.

I'd going to play 14 hours a day for three days, then I'll run into a hard quest, and never play again for around three months.

Then I'll convince my parents to get membership, and I'll gain quite a large amount of wealth over time. Then I'll lose it all due to connection error, and I'll quit.

Get Epic armor and ships

I plan on being a Pliigi.

My plans for when the game comes out is to either help Sanctioned Alliance get started, or make my own Guild/ clan/ w/e. I'll probably do the latter, a month or so into the game. The goal of my clan would be to provide a friendly, helping community for everyone in, and outside of the clan.

First I'll pick a pilligi then I will create a empire and conquer one of the 13 planets, then take over all of stellar dawn!

Then get overwhelmed by amount of MSW writing I'll be doing. It's my job to get those guides for you guys up ASAP, along with the rest of the team.

Re the plan in the opening post, if you cant get through a tutorial without a walkthrough then the mind boggles! The tutorial is meant to be there to introduce you to the game and paying attention to it and working out how to do things yourself is a much better idea.

Then there are the players who will want to have the pleasure of discovering things themselves and only look for help if they get stuck, one thing with a brand new game is that you are at the forefront of the discoveries, you could be the first player to get access to a tech or a planet etc.

So what would I do immediately? Well i would learn the basic controls and start out on a voyage into the unknown. Apart from that its hard to be specific because we don't know whether there will be skills to learn and unlock, combat stats to start building up or classes etc to be selected from, so until we get more information thats about all you can say.

The main thing we have to do is draw in people and a walkthrough will do that and keep us as no.1 fansite.

Ok. Let me get out my magical all-seeing orb of wisdom and look into the future to project what the game will be like so we can write a guide on it.

Or how about, the game isn't out yet and we have no clue what it will be like.

Was only saying what we should do when it gets here. Don't wana sound stupid stating the obvious but it's best somebody does.

Of course we need plans, but not this early, We don't even have a release date.

Lodtoby, It seems you use the word noobs a lot.
I for one, Hope we don't refer in our guides to new players like that. If I was called a noob, I'd be offended.

We will all be noobs in mechscape.
