Call of duty Modern warfare 2 is coming on 10th november 2009. Who is going to get this game, have you pre ordered it and on what platform?
It's currently the next game i would buy for my 360 because almost all my friends are going to buy it, because it's awsome and because i like war games.
I don't really like the price of the game but as 1 of the most famous games in the world i guess they have all rights to put maximum price
The chepeast £ GBP price i found is £37 but it's an online shop and i'm not sure if it's trustworthy, i would probbably buy it from a local "Game" Shop.

I'm definitely looking forward to Modern Warfare 2. Currently pre-ordered the 360 version on game.co.uk as I know them to be reliable and have often received pre-orders from them a day early.
I am getting it, but not pre-order. I am sure there will be many on the market, so like a few days after it is out I will buy it.
I am going to get the harden addition. I am probably going to pre order it.
I think they dropped the Call of Duty part.

It looks like a pretty fun game. I have no money, so I'm not going to be picking it up, but it still looks pretty awesome.

I stopped preordering games because I got smart. After the release of Halo 2, I realized every single store around me had bundles of copies left over. The only thing worth preordering is systems, but that's just because of their stupid marketing attempt (like how Micro$oft released less than half the systems they could have just to create a false buy out).
I am simply going to drive out to best buy and buy it. If I do that though, I'll end up buying other crap too :/

Make it like a week after release to give us all some time to get used to the game.
I honestly would love to play it, but 1) My parents won't let me play it 2) I don't have an Xbox 360. They don't like me playing "Violent" games. Wish I could though.

I found a gameplay video of online which gives us a lot of look into the new kill streaks. In my opinion it looks like they are going to ruin the game and are way to over powered.

@Darth; I believe you can only pick 3 for your loadout. It's really quite balanced in the end.

I might get the game early (on Monday). And then Im not going to school as I have to go to the hospital for a check up thing and then wednesday I have no school becuase of Veterans day.
The reason why I might get the game early is because I pre - ordered it from Walmart. And theu said It should be at my house on Monday which is a day early. I am not postitive I will get it early, so I posted a question up on yahoo answers to find out.
Also if anyone has any ideas if I will get it early please comment.

Wow a sentry gun? Since when did modern soldiers have those floating in front of their bodies and magically materializing in front of them at the push of a button (without any penalty to movement). The first one was somewhat realistic. You had realistic guns, and awesome mechanics.
Now, it's like they are trying to outdo everyone else. Weapons that look ugly from the perspective they are in, unrealistic and dull reloading that looks the same for every gun. Seriously, hitting a release, and putting a clip in immediately is a very high level skill that takes a lot of practice to master. And even then, it isn't that fast in all circumstances and you will not always get it in on the first try. The character basically doesn't look like they are part of the environment. Whether you are prone, crouching, or running into a wall your gun behaves as if it is outside of time and space and so are you. I expect if you hit a wall or the ground, you don't just stop moving, but your gun sways, your reload is messed with, etc. Pulling a clip out also takes time because you have to open your pouch, get the clip, close your pouch, and then insert the new one. It can be pretty quick, but not in less than a second as can be seen here (Seriously, count it, you might as well just get rid of reloading in this game because people do it instantly and that means there is no advantage to being tactical with your ammunition or getting the jump on someone who is reloading).
Also, lack of recoil as you can see it is way too simple to shoot people. Most kills are running through a door and spamming your auto-shot gun (I thought that was a USAS-12 but I am not sure since there is no rail and stuff).
Too many perk interruptions. Every few kills the dude is getting some uber, overpowered perk. The care packages teleporting into the middle of the street are retarded.
Everything just looks and feels too crowded. Like a bunch of shit they tacked on that is going to make this feel more fake and less realistic.

The things that worrys me it the care packages, some of the new kill streak rewards, and that turret. Hopefully they balanced stuff out.
