Life of a Rogue, Chapter 2 Options

here is the second instalment of the Life of a rogue pliigi series

I opened my eyes. Everything was static and a loading screen appeared on my eyes. Odd. Well I'd better not worry about it now. I bet i am dead. That crash was horrible. All i remember was hitting the planet hard and blacking out.

"Doctor, I think he's waking up." A voice said.

"How are you feeling?" A slightly deeper voice said. I could see now.

"Uh? I'll be fine." I looked around the room. There were some pictures on the wall and a cheery looking doctor and nurse. "Are they still after me?"

"Well uh. There is no easy way to tell you this. Nurse bring me a chair." She brought him a chair, started weeping, and left the room. What was her problem?
He sat down. "Your ship plummeted to the planet three weeks ago. The whole thing was aflame. We saw the scene on the security cameras. You see. This is a remote planet with a small amount of scattered civilizations. We are trying to protect the vast ecosystem but the Galactic fleet keeps trying to shut us down. They are starting to get violent about it. So we set up a security system to blast anything that comes into the planet without clearance."

"Is that what happened to my ship?"

"Yes."

"How did I survive the crash?"

"Well we save anyone trying to get in but they have to take a lie detector test to check if they work for the government when they wake up. And if they fail the test well we kill them. Except. Most anyone gets out with minor injuries. However, we never had a pliigi try getting in. Most government agents are human. So your injuries were greatly worsened because of your plant based DNA."

"And what do you mean by that?"

"Look at yourself." I looked down and I have mostly robotic parts. I checked the mirror and the only not robotic part was parts of my face.

"This...is perfect...heheh. I'm unrecognizable." I said with a huge grin. "As soon as i get out of here I can get myself a new life."

"Wh-Wh-Who are you?!?!" The doctor yelled as he got up and backed towards the door.

"I wonder how these work." I thought. I started thinking of a plasma cannon and my robotic left arm turned into one. The doctor backed against the wall and started shivering. "Don't worry. I'm not a serial killer. I only kill to protect myself or for revenge. I'm not completely heartless.

"Ok good. That’s a..." BANG. The whole building shook. "What the heck was that!?!?!" The nurse ran into the infirmary. Doctor! They somehow disabled the security system! They are trying to get into the building as we speak! BANG! I heard screaming and gunshots. Oh god. They are either looking for me or they got ticked enough at these hippies. Either way it’s not safe. I started running. I pushed the nurse out of my way. Plasma cannon...plasma cannon. As soon as i got into the hallway a laser shot past my face.

"Kill everyone except the head of the planet. Hey get that pliigi you buffoons!" A mortigan general yelled. The mechs started shooting at me as i ducked behind a crate. There had to be something. I jumped up onto the crate and started shooting at the mechs. The general jumped into the next room. More mechs came in. I ducked back behind and started looking for some way to escape. An air duct. I shot all the mechs and pointed the cannon towards the air duct. I shot and jumped in. Which way...My gut told me to go left. More gunshots and screams. I could hear the doctor pleading for his life.

I could see a light at the end of the duct. Yes! Freedom. I shot the duct and jumped out. I ran out of the clearing into the forest. I looked back and I saw some mechs dragging someone out with the mortigan general in front. The building exploded. I couldn't worry about that now. It is everyman for himself when there is anarchy on a planet. Something hit me from behind. Everything went hazy and i fell down. I blacked out.

"There were no signs of him in the wreckage sir." A badly wounded mech sighed.

"Take his blindfold off."€� The mech went over to the doctor and took of his blindfold. "Hello. Doctor."

"You'll never get our recourses you monster!!!"

"Your planets fate was decided the moment we bugged your security system. Thats not why we captured you though. We want all you know about the pliigi you had been harboring." Said the general.

"I refuse to answer any more questions until I know what happened to my nurse!" The doctor yelled defiantly.

"We killed her like everyone else in the building. Now tell us about the pliigi."

"You killed her!?!?! You monster!"

"Answer the question!!! I'm losing my patience!"

"I will not answer any question!!!!"

"Kill him. He is of no use to us. We will undermine that pliigi when we bulldozer over the planet." The general left the screaming doctor in the room.

"No!!!! Please don't destroy the..."Bang! The doctor went limp.

i haven't had much said about this one. I need to make improvments for the next one and the whole book once i write the last 8 chapters. Criticize me!!!

Chill it down when he wakes up. Make me feel what he is feeling. His mells his enses etc. Don't make the doctor over eager to explain. Let him pull up a chair and sit beside him. Make the doctor ask him if he remembers this. Put in the line "slowly one by one my memories drifted into place, pieceing together what had happened. The fire, the crash!"

Overall good.

Thanks. I'll be sure to add those changes. My first draft of the first chapter was horrible.
